Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This policy explains what Consermo AI collects when you use the app, why, and what choices you have. It's written in plain language rather than legalese — if anything is unclear, use the contact page to ask.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Facebook, your name and profile picture.
- Practice session data: the text of what you and the AI say during a session, and the score/feedback generated at the end.
- Anything you type or upload into the "context" field before a session (job descriptions, CVs, word lists, notes) — used only to make that session's conversation more relevant.
- Basic preferences: theme, interface language and voice choice, stored in your browser and profile.
How it's used
Your spoken audio is transcribed to text and sent, along with your session context, to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the practice partner's replies, transcription and spoken voice output. Session transcripts and scores are stored so you can review your history and revisit feedback later. We do not sell your data or use it to train models.
Where it's stored
Account and session data live in our Supabase-hosted database, protected by row-level security so only you can read your own sessions. Audio itself is processed in real time and is not stored after transcription.
Your choices
You can review or delete individual sessions from your history at any time. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, reach out via the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
